Abstract

The Holy Qur’an, as the miracle of the Prophet (PBUH), is a book that the more time passes over it, the more its verbal and moral miracles become apparent than before. The words, structures, and concepts in it can always be researched and interpreted according to different theories. The twin surahs in the Holy Quran has been a subject of study. Some surahs of the Holy Qur’an are similar in structure and content with each other. In this research, which was carried out using the descriptive and analytical approach, the two Surahs of al-Talagh and al-Tahirm were studied. Perhaps the necessity of conducting this research lies in the fact that the relationship between the surahs of the Holy Qur’an is something that deserves attention and research. The results of the current research indicate that the two surahs of al-Talagh and al-Tahirm can be considered similar. Because these two surahs share in terms of the basic structure and subject similar issues. Both of these surahs begin with “O Prophet,” and the common themes are a call to people to obey God, avoid injustice, and the promise of Paradise.
