Many scholars at the Qom Seminary have been involved in interpreting the Quran in the present century, among whom is His Eminence Ayatollah Sheikh Ja'far al-Subhani. His Eminence is considered the one of the prominent scholarly figures in the field of Quranic interpretation, with numerous works in exegesis and Quranic research. This research aims to understand his scholarly personality and analyze the characteristics of his exegetical works through examining his Quranic works. The results of this research indicate the influential personality of Ayatollah al-Subhani and his high ability in interpretation, as well as his extensive works in Quranic research in general and exegetical studies in particular. Some features of the exegetical works and compositions of Ayatollah al-Subhani include prioritizing thematic interpretation, addressing linguistic topics and responding to linguistic ambiguities, focusing on interpreting the Quran with the Quran, exerting effort in using exegetical narrations, and considering sequential and thematic arrangement in interpretation.
