Quranic religious knowledge and its role in building human personality

Abstract

This article addresses one of the most significant and oldest Quranic issues that has occupied the minds of scholars, namely the issue of Quranic behavioral knowledge for humans and its associated issues such as the role of Quranic knowledge and its doctrinal, ethical, and worship-related impact on building human personality. It also delves into the various aspects of human integrated movement towards their eternal goal and the distinctive features of the Quranic behavioral approach compared to other approaches. While scholars, philosophers, interpreters, and others have made various approaches to the issue, these do not reach the level of what we have received from the infallible Imams regarding the matter. This research sheds light on what the Quran says about explaining Quranic behavioral knowledge in building human personality. The analytical method used in this research includes referencing the verses of the Noble Quran and conveying appropriate narrations from the Ahl al-Bayt on the subject.  Human beings are rational beings existing beyond the material and spiritual dimensions, with their essence being their soul, while the body is a tool to complete the soul. Quranic behavioral knowledge plays a role in building human personality by influencing human behavior and their spiritual integration journey. The most important thing for humans in life is knowledge of their integrative behavior, which stems from voluntary actions that are based on cognitive and doctrinal faith. True Quranic knowledge is about preserving human nature and keeping away from anything that corrupts it. It is the most noble and complete knowledge in influencing the building of human personality, connecting true religion with good behavior, urging virtuous ethics, purifying the soul, and achieving infinite integration for humans in paradise.
