Abstract

The issue of the social lifestyle is considered one of the fundamental and influential matters in the culture of any society, attracting the attention of scholars in all communities. The principles of social life within the family are likened to a tree, with its roots being beliefs and ideas, and its branches and twigs being the pillars and duties of the family. Therefore, given the significance of the principles of family social life, this article seeks to compare these principles from the perspective of the Noble Quran and the New Testament. On one hand, this research is employed for understanding the principles of family social lifestyle, and on the other hand, it serves as a method for inter-religious discussions among researchers. This article was compiled based on a comparative method using descriptive-analytical approach, which was employed to elucidate the subject and express the commonalities and differences. The research findings indicate that the Noble Quran and the New Testament have distinct perspectives on three important principles: respect for parents and kindness towards them, love and affection, and forgiveness and tolerance. It was concluded that there are both commonalities and differences in the viewpoints of the Noble Quran and the New Testament.
