Abstract

The comparative interpretation is one of the modes of interpretation of the Qur’anic texts. It is the most widespread method in Qur’anic studies in the current era, and it is clear that the comparator balances and compares several matters in order to reach the correct interpretation of the Qur’anic verses. In the comparison between the approaches of the interpreters we can see that there are some important factors such as their trends, styles, personalities. It is clear that knowing the types of differences and their causes has the primary role in carrying out an objective and scientific explanatory comparison. Through this study and by using the analytical, descriptive and comparative method, we have reached that the difference of the interpreters with all its ramifications is in the sense that each interpreter takes an opinion other than the opinion of the other, trying to prove his own opinion. their difference is sometimes a diversification difference and sometimes a contradictory difference and sometimes (which is the ugliest of them) a difference of jurisprudence against the legal text of the argument. What is widespread in the difference between the commentators is the difference in diversity. Other types of difference branch out from these types, such as theological and denominational differences.
the theological difference is one of the most causes of disputes among interpreters
in understanding the verses and explaining their meanings. This plays a key role in interpreting the texts because the interpreter has become accustomed to those beliefs and does not turn away from them. Therefore, the outcome of interpretation depends on the theological believes of interpreters, ignoring the verses of the Holy Quran.
We came to the conclusion that the new types of difference in interpretation is raised because of changing in the situations and conditions. For example, in the third century AH, after shaping the different denominations, we have witnessed many differences in interpretations. Last but not the least, the interpretational approaches have played an important role in shaping the differences.
