Abstract

Abstract

This article aims to shed light on the use of Quranic verses by Imam Khamenei (may God exalt his station) in his political discourse, clarifying the implications of this practice. This study answers questions such as: Why does His Eminence cite Quranic verses? What are the aims of his use of Quranic verses in his political discourse? What are the political fruits of such citations? From which political ideology did this approach emerge? For which political ideology did it pave the way? These and similar questions indicate the profound and far-reaching nature of this approach.

Undoubtedly, this descriptive, analytical, and inductive study of his political discourse will deepen the understanding of the methodology of politicians who follow his path. It will do so by elucidating his deeply rooted political vision, derived from the Holy Quran and stemming from a profound sense of responsibility and duty towards God Almighty. This vision is based on belief in the government of the Imam of the Age and the unity of religion and politics, and it is far-reaching in its aim to establish a Quranic political approach and solidify the foundations of the Islamic Republic and Revolution.
