Stages of Exploratory Learning from the Perspective of the Noble Qur’an

Abstract

Exploratory learning is one of the modern methods in educational psychology, where the learner plays a central role. This method, which was less concentrated in a systematic way in the past, has taken a special place in today's educational systems. The Holy Qur'an also gave special attention to this type of learning and considered it an effective tool in the process of education.
This study aims to explore and review the stages of exploratory learning in the Holy Qur'an in a descriptive and analytical style, and the objective interpretation of the process of studying the stages of exploratory learning in the Qur'an. The results of the study show that the Holy Qur'an, in addition to accepting the five stages of Jerome Bruner's exploratory learning theory, also introduces a new stage
These stages consist of: 1. Preparing the learners, 2. Creating a comprehensive position, 3. Gathering information, 4. Making assumptions and interpretation, 5. Analyzing the process of discovery, 6. Defining the ultimate goal. The Qur'an's emphasis on the sixth stage shows the importance of justifying learning in the way of perfection and elevation to the learners. The attention of teachers and learners to this process can lead to deepening learning and enhancing creativity and innovation.
This study highlights the need to pay attention to the teachings of the Qur'an in the theories of learning and suggests that the new scientific frameworks in the educational sciences, inspired by Al-Wahaniyyah, be re-examined.
